Little Alba looked up at her mother with innocent eyes, as if asking the saddest question in the world: “Mom, why did you leave me so hungry and crying?” Though no words were spoken, her tiny face and gentle cries seemed to express the feelings hidden deep inside her heart.
As a young monkey, Alba depends completely on her mother for warmth, comfort, and milk. When those needs are not met, every moment feels frightening and lonely. She clings tightly, hoping her mother will hold her close and make everything better. Watching such a small baby struggle to understand hunger and loneliness is truly heartbreaking.
However, nature is often more complicated than it appears. A mother monkey may become weak, stressed, inexperienced, or unable to care for her baby because of illness, injury, or other challenges. It does not always mean she has stopped loving her little one. Sometimes she simply cannot provide the care her baby desperately needs.
Despite the difficult beginning, little Alba continues to show incredible strength. Every feeding, every comforting touch, and every new day gives her another chance to grow healthier and stronger. Her story reminds us how precious maternal care is and how important kindness and compassion are for vulnerable animals.
